Google search page redesign suggestion story, what do you think of this?

I have read his story and was wondering what other people think of the current design and the design that has been suggested, see below link.

No.. it's almost all wrong. The links are good where they are.

if they start redesigning everything and going away from the simplicity they will turn into msn

 

I agree with the above posters, although the concept art did look quite nice I can't see Google changing a system that has worked for so long.

exactly. I'm happy with google as it is. Simple, loads fast, doesn't try and do a million other things on the front page

 

I find the current design suitable as well and only the links in the top right corner is something that i agree on with this guy.

That is something that could centered with the rest IMHO.
