Cash for weight.

Hi guys...

I have been running this site in the Coop for about a month or two now, and I have to say, I am VERY impressed with the results.

This is an entry page for an SEO competition.

I was previously pointing about 12,000/13,000 weight to the site, but have now increased that number to around the 70,000 mark.

What I need from someone here, is at least another 50,000 pointed to the page.

"What do I get in exchange" I hear you ask...

Well, I am currently on the edge of doing quite well in this competition.

As I write this, I am currently sitting around the #12 mark in the results for the search term "Seraphim Proudleduck". (Before I implemented the Coop, the site was around the 130 mark).

So things are looking pretty good. It can be won.
However, I need the extra weight to see if it will help with pushing the page up the results a bit more.

For the person who contributes the weight, I will split 50% of the prize money (The prize for the #1 position is £1,000 - $1,800).

The competition finishes on the 1st of janurary, so this would only need to be in place for 1 month. Not bad for £500 (Potentially anyway) if you ask me.

As I said, I really need at least another 50,000 weight to point at the site.

If anyone can offer more, I would greatly appreciate it, or if you have some other way of offering a few thousand links, I'd be keen to hear that too.

Anyway - could you let me know if you are interested.

I need to know as soon as possible if you are keen on helping out, as there isn't all that much time left in the competition.

Another thing you could do is approach a webmaster that isn't part of the coop, and pay them to run coop network ads (which you of course would get the weight).

Be sure to post a picture of the trophy when you win. I am assuming you are monitoring the allinanchor and serp position daily...I would be interested to see how things are affected with the new weight.

There may be the additional external link in the mix as well, independant of Shawns network, but yeah - I plan to enjoy watching the site win !

It will be interesting to see if the extra weight will effect the SERP's. If you are already number one for allinanchor, what will more links do? Do links play a bigger role than just the allinanchor and inanchor parts of the "score"? I don't know, but this will show us a little bit more... I think!

I am #1 for every allin search.

I'm currently at #12 in the actual results.
It's very annoying because these guys jumped from 1 place below me, to the #2 position.

I'm hoping that the inclusion of another few thousand links will have some impact in terms of bringing the "actual search" results up a little bit.

The http://www.presidentielle-2007.net/s...m-proudleduck/ site actually sits below me in the the allinanchor etc searches, so with any luck I should make a jump to the first page at some point soon.

I will keep you all informed of the progress.

Just for the record though - I think that I have probabally spent a total of 2, maybe 3 hours doing work on this site.
All of the results that you can see so far, are as a result of the Coop.

I have done pretty much no work to the site (on-page).

It really does go to show the power of the Coop network.
I wonder how long some of the other entrants to the competition have spent trying to get to the #1 slot. I bet it's a whole lot longer than 2 or 3 hours (With the exception of outer-court).

Perhaps snatching up a high PR link could make the difference :s ...

And get some links from the other entry sites if possible.

I published the google results page on the index of the site (With live links et all), so that should be OK for my authority links (Lazy, but it should do).

I've thought that too.
Most of the sites I run are linking to the site now, most with a PR4-PR5.
I don't really have a lot of high PR to play around with until the next update

And get some links from the other entry sites if possible.

I thought about doing that too. I'll give it a go - I can't hurt can it.
