YouTube is now Numer 3 On Alexa....
Hey,

Did you noticed that YouTube is Number 3 now on Alexa.... When did this happended? It beaten MSN... and Infact MSN is down to 5 from 3 rd position and Live is Number 4 from 5 I guess....


Now, Google have 3 domains in the Top 10 namely Google, YouTube and Orkut and Microsoft have two namely MSN and Windows Live.

Again, also see that Facebook is now Number 7 up from 12.... which beat Wikipedia which is at Number 8... Thats strange

Oh Google is dominating!!!!!! And Yes the Number 1 is as always Yahoo!

Just wait and watch... I would Google would be Number One in 6 months....

And now go to http://www.alexa.com/data/details/tr...ils/google.com and enter msn.com, yahoo.com, live.com and youtube.com inside the compare field.... the gap betweek yahoo and google is very low.....

maybe youtube will become no1 traffic site. now that would be something no one expects, but youtube has biggest traffic growth.

*friendly* please don't go too far with that alexa thing you still believing yahoo beats google come on ..
how can it give accurate measurement ? it get statistics from toobar but not too many people are using its bar

i don't think we should mind alexa .....look many website have round 500 alexa but almost nothing PR is that rational

I don't think Google is that bothered about beating Yahoo at the moment. The amount of money it must cost yahoo to run all those extra services (Answers, horoscopes etc) must be v. expensive. The amount of traffic Google generate without all that extra gumf is plenty to keep their shareholders happy.

You are absolutely right... That applies to Microsoft and Yahoo... they provide more content oriented services... so their cost of revenue is hight... and the same time... Google is clever... their Profit Margin is very high...

That makes Google Trading at PE of over 60 when compared with Microsoft's 20 so if we give MS that kind of valuation then MS will become 10 times bigger than Google in terms of Market Cap....

And Google cant grow at this rate for longer.... but yes their traffic will increase at a faster rate... and will become Number One.... and may even beat MS in market cap.... sooner or later...
