Drastic reduction of pages and backlinks
I noticed today that results obtained with Yahoo are very different.
Over many months it was displaying around 500,000+ pages and 250,000+ backlinks for my site, but today I got only around 20,000 pages and 30,000 backlinks. I'm using this URL: https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.co...www.MYSITE.com Code:
https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/advsearch?bwm=i&bwmo=d&bwmf=s&p=www.MYSITE.com I need to use another URL to check pages and backlinks with yahoo ?

Yes , I have noticed this today as well, Its just like google, different datacenters will show different stuff,
My link count bounces day in and day out

Log into siteexplorer with a yahoo E-mail account. The results for me are much higher when you are logged in.

i had an issue with them splitting my back links
www and non www even tho their is a 301 on one went from 600 down to 300
|

Most of the sites I am usually checking have dropped to about 20% of backlinks they had 2 days ago ... I hope its something temporary again ... it happened 2 months ago ...

They've definitely been tinkering with something within their Algo. As of yesterday they seem to have reverted to the SERP results that they had just before the last update.
Anyone else see this?

I have not been looking at the SERPs but I can comfirm that my backlinks as of an hour ago are back to normal
