While I wanted to use a few paid individuals to post to my new forum, I decided to give a couple Forum Posting companies that contacted me a try.

Up first was Forumboosting.com. I tried their First Boost package for $18. They promised 75 posts and 25 threads started. I ended up with a total of 85 posts including 28 therads. All posts were highly relevant and of good quality. All my emails were answered in a timely manner and I was very happy with the service. Projected completed on time, and with a few extra posts to boot. :D 2 thumbs up.

Second up was Forumspark.com. For $15 I was supposed to get 111 posts and 25 threads started in 5-20 days. It has been 26 days and I have 89 posts and 4 threads from them. My last emails have gone unanswered. I am not thrilled with this. Lgolos sig says: "Least expensive paid posts website around, quality posts. You really can't find anywhere less expensive." Yeah.. it's cheap, but not when they don't do what was promised. :(

So overall I am very happy with Forumboosting.com and would highly recommend them. Forumspark on the other hand, I cannot recommend due to the lack of communication and follow through on what I paid for.

    Just sharing my experience.

    Nice review Serg.
This is how a real service review should be conducted, so props to you for trying out the services as normal then reviewing them here.

I see many forum posting services today and just wondering about the results. Lets say I have a new forum and I will order 100 posts. Does it really help to get new forum users and traffic?

IMHO it mainly lures new users. I had an empty forum with a post or two and no visitor ever subscribed. As soon as I took some effort and posted more, and got someone else make few posts, people finally started subscribing.

Nobody will subscribe if you have an empty forum, 100 posts already make it look worth of subscribing. You better already had some traffic, though, you can't expect 100 posts alone to bring traffic.

Nice reviews, Serg, and I'm glad to see that you were satisfied with one of them - I just see so many bad reviews these days :(

webhostingtoplist - paying for posts is definitely a temporary solution. Be prepared to promote via other means to lure new members to your forums. That is of course, unless you have an unlimited supply of money ;)

webhostingtoplist.. it won't help you get new users or get traffice perse.... what it does however is make your forum look like it is being used. If someone comes to your forum and you have 10 posts, they will likely pass and move on. However if they come to your forum and find it full of posts, they will most likely stay and use it.

Paid forum posting is a good way to kick start your forum so it looks "lived in" I would recommend it to anyone who has a new forum and wants some "meat" in it...
