    Hello all..

just out of curiosity...if there were a site that came up as #7(for example) in the SERPs of Yahoo, Google, MSN, and others..what would the traffic breakdown be?

My guess would be something like-
    70% Google
    12% MSN
    12% Yahoo
    6% Others

    Anyone have any REAL numbers?

It really depends on what kind of site it is.

For example - google has the most men out of any of the search engines, so if the search was for "mens health," I would give more of the share to google.

Each search engine has its own little niche.

However, someone may need to correct me here, but as far as I have heard from Nielsen its like this:

    Google: 44%
    Yahoo!: 22%
    MSN: 18%
    Ask Jeeves: 5%
The rest: whatever 100% - all of those is.

So, all things being equal, a number 7 spot would bring in the those numbers from the major search engines.
