Bought my first Facebook add today!

They are called flyer's and are displayed beside the users profile. I selected the target market of females and only the age of 13-17

What do you think?

Facebook has a horrible CTR. Users on there aren't interested in ads AT ALL.

It says at the bottom of yours $15, whats that?

How much for the 7,500 flyers? And 1 flyer goes to every page? If you wanted to target musicians on facebook, you could give flyers to them also right?

$15 is the total cost of the ad.

I don't know much about Facebook flyers, but yeah, I'd imagine it'd be 1 flyer per unique visitor per day.

Personally I wouldn't expect the CTR to be all that high, so it's unlikely you'll see a decent return on your investment. Good luck though... I'd love to see the results!

Well it will be hard to measure the performance seeing I'm using Facebook to market my website hardcore via groups and friends

I'm already getting facebook.com traffic

around 20-25 unique visits a day

 

Thats much better than what we got with facebook. I tend to think of it as more branding advertising.

 

And that 7500 was only $15?

Yeh do you have any results you could share here? Is that CTR really as bad as everyone seems to be suggesting?
