how many of you guys are getting decent traffic from digital point. On the last 2 days I have had: 368 Uniques to my blog, and 92 of them have come through this forum. I guess it has to the last post feed in each post. But I am pretty happy.
I haven't actually looked into that data, but it appears that you are doing well with it. As the GooRoo's would say, "rinse and repeat" ECS Dave
No not just signature, if you notive at the top of my post there is a link to my latest blog post. Posts per day: 10-20? yea it is great!
I removed all my big sites and eventually even my small(er) sites and blogs a long time ago because I'm OCD that since this is a primarily web developers forum, my ideas and content will be copied. Call me nuts but I don't think a few hits is worth revealing my secrets to success.
wow..that was some awesome amount, im just getting 10 hits from my signature but there're a lot from my blog feed.
Back when I actually used to update my blog frequently I'd receive 20 uniques a day with an average of 10 posts a day. For the time invested into writing the posts I'd say it's worth it.
yea for sure... here is how you do it: 1. Go to your "User CP" 2. Click "Edit Options" on the side bar 3. Scroll right to the bottom and it asks for "Blog XML Feed URL" 4. Put your rss feed url in there, and click "save changes" Should be all good from there. I hope it helps.
If you have a good title which Displays in your blog posts . then People tend to visit your blog as soon as possible to take note of what has been written there.
I agree I had one yesterday that said i was giving awar free domains, and I got over 100 hits on that page along... mainly from DP So yea definately make sure that your titles make people want to click.
That's the key. I think having that last post link below your name might actually be motivation to always write quality titles for blog posts - something to catch someone's attention. It'll help you get more visitors from Digg, plus if you're pinging various other services you'll also get more hits by having that catchy title.
