$15 for a SIMPLE Logo

Hey all,

I've just setup a new website with a partner; anyways, now that we've bought a kick-ass theme we'd like a similar logo to go along with it. Now neither I or the co-owner of the website is anything great at designing, so we thought we'd use the talent on Digital Point to make up something for the website.

All details (and a bit more) can be seen here; what we're actually looking for is something simple yet elegant. The logo should be a text-looking one, that will fit in on the top left of the page; only add a graphic if you think it'll look good.



It will replace the current logo in the top left; the contest will be ongoing for the next few days but if we see 1-2 we like we will buy them immediately. As I have a lot of websites, and will need a lot of logos, the winner will be needed for more work later down the line

Who wants to get it started?

No, no fixed size to the logo - but obviously, extra bonus points if it's a vectored graphic.

We will probably only use it in the one spot on the website for now, but if we need to use it elsewhere, it'd be nice to be able to re-size it effectively.

 

ok..vector logo..but not 2.0 or glossy?

I'll post the guidelines here for everyone, in case some of the forum readers don't bother with non-DP sites

Here are some guidelines:

1. Don’t copy other people’s work!
2. All logos should include the text: ‘equidi’ in the logo design. We don’t have a problem if you capitalize the ‘E‘ or not, but please don’t submit a logo that looks something like this: ‘εqUiDi”
3. You can use fancy schmancy doodle-like thingies in the design, but if it really doesn’t add much to the look, then you’re probably just wasting virtual ink. or paint. or pixels, or whatever you call it.

How fast did that take you?

Anyways, it's a bit small- the empty space is quite noticable. Could you do something with that, and put in a few more styles if you have the time?
