to have a friendly bet. no money, just respect (unless you want to lose some green) As i told GTech earlier, i am betting that 1. Ron Paul takes first place in New Hampshire because apparently some of you are behind on some info..

    2. I am also going to put down just for gtech's sake, that Ron Paul will do better than Huckabee in the election.

    3. I'll ALSO take any of you on the bet that Ron Paul is OUR NEXT PRESIDENT.

so Gtech, Lorien, fellow Hannity listeners, come and take which or all bets, and whoever loses is officially "pwned" till the next election. and anytime anything comes up where you think you've pwned someone else, the rest of the forum can sit back and remember the 2008 election.

yea i was thinking of some kind of spread to use for that, a bit tougher on my part and kinda defeats the purpose of the other 2 haha. any suggestions?

Use his poll numbers. GTech says he polls 2% so he should be willing to give you 50:1. Thats if he wasn't afraid RP will be the next president.

Well, I do bash on RP a lot, so who would I be not to take this bet. I'll even bet something of use to us all. We can bet a 4 year sitewide link on the most popular site you own. We can make this official somewhere on someones site doesn't matter me me.

I bet RP does not become the next president of the united states of america.

I might even parlay that bet and tell you who it is.

I hope that he wins the Republican Nomination but I won't bet on it ;) I'm from NH and he definitely has a lot of support here.

You should get at least 7-10/1 odds.

Nate, I'm game. Whatcha got in mind? :)

    Latest results for NH

Paul may, or may not do better than Huckabee. Huckabee is one of several candidates I like. I also like Romney and Guiliani. You have to remember, Nate, my primary concern is National Security. Every candidate EXCEPT ron paul, is concerned about and has demonstrated that national security is a vital issue.

That, among other reasons that have more than been made clear, is why I have no interested in rp.

I also contend that is the very reason so many liberals here, and elsewhere, are suddenly turning republican. Always gets a chuckle out of me :)

alex jones makes his living suckering money out of the gullible. I see no reason why I can't profit from it too!

well in this case, just about everyone wants bet #3 so it will have to be the standard bet. since a spread wouldn't work without money it would have to be done with money?

i have a pretty limited budget and anything i do get goes to his campaign, so i probly wouldn't put any more than 10 down.

Why do so many people seem to get a stiffy over this guy? I see his name plastered across Reddit every day.

idk probably the same reason our forefathers had a stiffy over making a Declaration of Independence, freedom, the Constitution, and America.

and the same reason all the immigrants had a stiffy over immigrating here and starting a new life the last 2 centuries.

Why would anyone not confident in their candidate need a spread?

$10 is fair, but let's do it for a charity for our troops. Would that be fair?

The bet is simple. I'll take on any RP supporters equal bet, $10 for $10. If Ron Paul wins the NH primaries, I'll accept defeat graciously and donate $10 per taker of my money, to one of the charities in my sig link "Reconnect America" that benefits our troops.

Each RP supporter that takes this $10 bet, and ron paul loses, will donate $10 to one of the charities from my sig link.

What better cause, than to support our troops, right? Not sure how many RP supporters support our troops, but that's the bet I'm offering. All comers.

I recommend when the bet is over, everyone required to pay, also list their transaction/donation confirmation here as well, to prove they've lived up to their commitment.

Sounds fair? Whose game? Just post "I accept your bet, GTech" in the thread, and we can start a friendly bet that will benefit our troops.

    Who will join me?

I commend you for such an action, very, very positive. An excellent cause, something I and I'm sure most others on there would support 110%.

I myself will not even bet, I will simply pledge $10 for the troops to any charity that benefits them.
