$15 Blog Header Contest

Hi,

I need a new header and a logo for my blog theme at www.orinity.com. Here are the criteria:

• No colour scheme in mind at the moment so I'm open to ideas
• Web 2.0, stylish & slick
• May use similar backgrounds but I prefer that you use/design your own
• Blog is mainly on technology, online shopping and making money online
• Include 'Orinity.com' and 'Muses Of The Idyllic Minds'
• My partner and I like blue and yellow

daniegb123: Thanks for the entry. I don't really like the way the mirror images are placed and I think the fonts can be more slick. The font for the tagline can be more curvy.

For everyone, I updated the criteria a bit after some discussions with my partner.

moinuddin102: Nice entry but the content inside 'O' can be more stylish and can be a bit smaller. The tagline can use a more slick and curvy font.

Ross860: Great entry! I like the entry but the two shades of blue don't seem to match. Font-wise, the font you used went well with the concept though I would like the tagline to be more curvsive with more style.

Here is my entry. The original is actually larger. I just scaled it down so it would fit on smaller screen resolutions for the thread.

CHSajid: Thanks for the entry but its not quite what I am looking for. The fonts need to be changed as they are not slick and stylish. The words are too big in both your entry.

neilparnham: Nice entry! The logo don't look very web 2.0 and slick though. Your font for the tagline can be more curvy. I like the background you chose.

mjda: Can you scale is bigger a bit? I would like to see the details inside. The fonts used can be more slick.

krates: The wordings are not clear enough. Font for the URL need to be more slick and stylish. I don't like the translucent concept.

jboo14: Definitely a forerunner! Nice background and tagline font. Can you try something more stylish for the URL font?

babykiki: I like the background but the wordings are not quite what I am looking for. The fonts need to be reworked and the words are too big.

Thanks for all the entries and keep them coming in! I will give feedback on tweaking the entries. I feel that the logo can be more interesting.

 

I went ahead and gave you a totally new look, but if you prefer the last one, let me know and I'll just make the changes you asked for. I just figured you'd like the look of this one better.



I also left the size the same as it should be instead of scaling it down this time.

 

cobracommander: Interesting concept but I would like to see more for the logo instead of just a globe. Can the tagline be made more italic?

mjda: Nice idea. I think the logo can be smaller and the tagline be made a bit italic.
