Google Backlinks Update
Hey there,

My backlinks were just updated for both of my websites in the google webmaster tools.

You guys might want to check it out to see if you made any progress.

I am assuming backlinks update before the PR gets calculated, so this might be a good sign

They update it 3 times a month lately - so I doubt, that this is a sign for a PR update.

I hate to break this to you but I have a site in Google Webmaster tools that Google says has 1 link.

The one link is a PR0 all other pages are a PR0 so it seems to be a new site.

However the site that it links to, is a PR3

This tells us simply that what Google tells webmasters, and what is reality are two different things.

From this we learn not to waste time watching Google Webmaster Tools

And let's not go there with the PR update speculation as it's been burnt to a crisp here at DP.

Hey there,

Maybe it updates slower for newer websites. I have been waiting a month and a half for a backlink update in the google webmaster tools.

It is just nice to see progress being made, regardless of how little it may be heh..

I see a backlink update since yesterday.

There have been quite a few recently.

Even so, it still only shows me about 50% of how many backlinks I actually have!

You really have no clue?

It would seem to reason that what effects you is called 'artificial link building'

Hard to say as I have not seen the site nor do I know for sure how you build links but from the spam in your signature link
