Google Backlinks Update

Hey there,

My backlinks were just updated for both of my websites in the google webmaster tools.

You guys might want to check it out to see if you made any progress.

I am assuming backlinks update before the PR gets calculated, so this might be a good sign

They update it 3 times a month lately - so I doubt, that this is a sign for a PR update.

 

they update it many time already... but still no pr update.

 

All I'm seeing is this:

I was PR4

 

I hate to break this to you but I have a site in Google Webmaster tools that Google says has 1 link.

The one link is a PR0 all other pages are a PR0 so it seems to be a new site.

However the site that it links to, is a PR3

This tells us simply that what Google tells webmasters, and what is reality are two different things.

From this we learn not to waste time watching Google Webmaster Tools

And let's not go there with the PR update speculation as it's been burnt to a crisp here at DP.

 

Yes, this is perhaps the 5th Backlinks update in 6 weeks.
At least some thing to watch.

 

They updated bls 4-5 times lately, but no PR change for me!

Maybe it updates slower for newer websites. I have been waiting a month and a half for a backlink update in the google webmaster tools.

It is just nice to see progress being made, regardless of how little it may be heh..

I don't think update of backlinks mean anything.It's quite normal.

 

No update this side....

 

I see a backlink update since yesterday.

There have been quite a few recently.

Even so, it still only shows me about 50% of how many backlinks I actually have!

You really have no clue?

It would seem to reason that what effects you is called 'artificial link building'

Hard to say as I have not seen the site nor do I know for sure how you build links but from the spam in your signature link

It would seem you approve of link schemes designed to hurt your rankings.

20,000 links would like trip a spam filter and Google would devalue them.

As I said I am not sure you participate in such, but all the signs say you do.
