WTS Football Forum with 65,000 posts and nearly 3,000 members!

Hey everyone,

Looking for a quick sale on www.thetouchline.co.uk

It's a football forum that's been around for nearly 2 years, it has alot of dedicated members, however I simply don't have the time/invest required to push the site forward anymore.

The site is using IPB, but you can of course convert the database to VB. Included is the domain, database and a collection of various skins.

I haven't made any money from the website but i'm sure it's possible to with adsense or something. In terms of traffic, it's getting 1,500 unique visitors, 200,000 page views per month (on average). For interested parties I can provide screen shots of statistics. Posting wise, the site several hundred posts per day at it's peak with 20-30 new members joining daily.

I'm looking to sell the website for $1,750

 

Site income from where ?. Adsense..? What your sept total revenue..? Please be frank..

 

I have already mentioned this in the original post, there is no revenue as I never had adsense on the website.

 

Could be interested in this one, but not sure about the price.

Doesn't seem to be many active users. What gives?

 

There are quite a few active users, however it depends what time you view the forum (most are at school) so if you viewed it at midnight or something you probably won't find many have viewed the forum.

Statistics within the forum show several hundred posts per day and around 20-30 new members registering. Traffic and activity has declined but it wouldn't be hard to get it booming again, just check the posts and your see how much the members care about the site. A nice new skin and some promoting and you're onto a winner.

 

Google's cache of Oct 10th shows 65000 posts - Oct 13th stats (today) shows 65027 posts. That's 27 posts over 3 days, not a few hundred.

 

I would be interested but Price would have to be reduced massively...

If you were going to put adsense on it, 1500 visitors per month would be around 50 per day. At 3% CTR on adsense that would be 3 clicks over 2 days, maybe getting you max $0.15 to $0.20 x 365 = $73 per year max.

Clearly not worth what you are asking for it.

 

only 1500 unique per months? that's so low for such a price!, consider lowing?
