I want to announce the new service that's been in the works for quite a while.... the BETA testing has been done, and we've just been certified as an "eBay compatible application". AuctionReporting.com Increase the revenue from your sites with more attractive ads. With our ad customization form, it is easier for you to get exactly the ad that you need - in many cases, even increasing the number of displayed items. Our programmers have done all of the tough work of creating a custom ads from the eBay© API's XML files. With the standard "Editor Toolkit", you can only create several types of ads that all look the same in my opinion; with our script, you can configure every detail of an ad including: columns / rows, font name, thumbnail size, many other display options. You can also dynamically pass keywords to the code block, or leave them as content-sensitive - and they'll automatically test your page for keywords. Here's a short list of features that make our ads more successful: * Content-sensitive ads - this actively tries to find items for sale that are more applicable to your page content. If you are blogging about car stereos, we try to display ads that are relevant. For this reason, your users will be much more likely to click any ad that appears on your pages. * Keywords appear in boldface - bold text attracts the attention of the user. In a classified newspaper for example, advertising with bold words costs extra. * Appearance - the effect of beauty is more than you'd think. With rounded corners and perfect fit, users feel more like moving their mouse above the 2:55 PM 10/6/2007ad. * Customization - this factor alone should increase your click-through rates. The ads will fit perfectly into whatever space you define except for the very small. - You can specify how many columns and rows. This allows you to display more items in a limited space than you could using the Editor Toolkit. - You can customize the colors and font to match your page. - Several border options (rounded border, square border, or no border) mean that you should be able to make it look like it belongs anywhere. * You never have to worry about ads that don't display any items as our code will revert to cached items that were already successfully retrieved. Even in the event that eBay had a major problem with their API services, we could still display the data that we cached until their expiration dates passed... the bids may be inaccurate, but at least we'd display relevant items that should still be at eBay. Affiliate member of Commission Junction (CJ) - but it's not required If you aren't a CJ member, that's ok. We would handle the account and you'd have access to our impressions and click data, or if you are a CJ member, you could use your PID(s), but you'd have to get your click data through CJ. Pricing Since options are good, there are a few pricing plans: * Free usage : 70% commission earned * Silver: 80% ($1/mo or $10/yr) * Gold: 90% ($3.95/mo or $30/yr) * Platinum: 100% earned ($6.95/mo or $50/yr) We hope that you will find our new service meets your needs, and especially hope that it will increase your click through rates.

Holy cow! The site looks fine to me - does it do this to anybody else? It is probably something related to a rebuild of Apache with different version of SOAP. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
Since I wasn't able to find much on the internet on the cause, here's what was wrong: the cached pages were corrupted somehow. The user framework of the site is built on a Drupal 5.x CMS. The cached data was corrupted due to moving things around or possibly related to server restarts (upgraded from php4 to php5 last week for one). I disabled the cache (under Administer » Performance) and everything worked again. I am going to leave it off for now as I haven't manually deleted the cached page data yet. My web host is one of the best in the world -- it was his idea to delete any cached page data. I have to give credit where credit is due. In any case --- the Grand-opening resumes. We're terribly sorry for any inconvenience -- we didn't notice this at all on our browsers.
Ok, the pricing has been completely reworked. The previous pricing shouldn't have been published. Why didn't anybody complain? The initial rates were a bit of a rip off, no? -- we like critiques, seriously... I know that I probably wouldn't say anything either. Since we really do want for you to make more money with your websites through our service -- rather than less. We can only make money if you're making money. Not only are the payouts all closer to 100% of the commissions, the subscription rates are lower. Here's the new pricing tiers: * Free usage model - no subscription fee, but you only get 90% of your commissions. * Silver membership is only 50¢/month or $5/year - 97% commissions earned. * Gold membership is only $1.50/month or $15/year - 98% commissions earned. * Platinum membership is only $2.50/month or $25/year - 99% commissions earned. Anyway - we'll be waiting to see you at AuctionReporting.com. Best wishes, Brian Gillingham
You'd be right if you said that it's not a grand-opening if there's no give away. I had a talk with some experienced marketing professionals and they suggested that I give a free month trial. doh! So, all subscriptions begin with a trial period of one month at PLATINUM subscription benefits!! This means that you'd be getting 99% commission payout. If you are not satisfied, cancel your subscription before the first billing occurs (one month after subscribing). If you continue with your subscription (without canceling) the subscription level you signed up with will take effect after the free month at Platinum. This offer is for a limited time. Depending on the response, the offer may extend beyond the first day of December 2007, but that is the target date for the end of the free trial period offer.
