I wasn't going to make a big annoucement about this since I gave the user a negative feedback and itrader, but this guy is just so unprofessional and it's probably best to warn others about this. Basically what happened is I won his contest, sent him the design, and he didn't pay me. He did code and use the design for a few days. Those who saw his thread at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=497097 and went to his site within 48 hours after he posted that, saw the design. But here is where it is located: http://www.nationalgunforum.com/HomePage, a cache: http://216.109.125.130/search/cache...onal+gun+forum"&d=X26hBudmPjz4&icp=1&.intl=us, and where he is hosting it http://s187.photobucket.com/albums/x316/theholst/ It wasn't a complete lost since each design I do is a learning experience and something added to my portfolio, but I don't want others to experience the same thing. I do admit it was my fault for releasing the image without getting the payment first. I guess I was in a trusting mood that day. Here is how it went down: 1. He said if I removed the watermark, he will send me the payment. He also asked me if it was coded or if he needed me to do it. 2. I told him it wasn't and if he wanted me to, I would code it for him. I sent him the jpg and psd of the image. I didn't hear back from him. 3. The next day I sent two pms asking for the payment. I also replied to his contest topic. He didn't respond. 4. I sent him another pm telling him he can tell me if there is some delay with the payment and that I will give him 48 hours to send it. He then sent a pm back stating that he was waiting for an ebay auction to finish, and then he would send me the money the next morning. 5. I didn't get a payment the next day, so after the next day, I send him a pm asking what was going on. Never got a response. Gave him a negative itrader and reputation. I also never got any pms of him changing his mind about choosing my design, and that he would keep the contest running. I advise to not waste your time on entering his contest.
