First time selling anything on Digital point. Got a project that came up which was impossible for me to turn down, and i don't have time for this one anymore. Figured it might be great for anyone interested in Gaming or Halo..Site has potential and a great domain name.. haven't done anything major in the way of SEO or link building. Very new site. ABOUT THE HALO WEBSITE --

This site has been fully operational for about 3 weeks. I had big plans for it, with the release of Halo 3 coming up. However, a bigger project came my way and i need the capital and this is why I am selling this beauty. I invite you to check it out, create a profile by clicking on the link www.truehalo.com

TONS AND TONS OF FEATURES

But i will also mention some in brief

First of all There are tons of options all controllable via admin. You can control what questions are asked in the profiles and even require email verification to join the site. Here are examples of some profiles on truehalo.com. Example 1, Example 2


The standard profile has 3 sections, but you CONTROL it, you can add more or take away questions ask or add!! it's totally customizable. Pictured Below is an example. And there is even a myspace type profile that is heavily customizable and you can use a lot of those "pimp my profile" type coding.. As you can see, the graphics and functions on our site has been heavily customized. I spent 1K on the graphics alone, and more on the modifications to the code. If you looked at one of those profiles, You can see that the gamercard pops up in the profile if the user puts a gamertag in the profile section. You can select a number of different profile looks, and the user can embed music into the profile as well as flash. Both example profiles demonstrate examples of this. You really should click on the feature list to get an idea of how functional this site is. Another custom feature is the TRUE RANK. I was planning on holding tourney's on Xlive and eventually giving out prizes when members reached a certain TRUE RANK. True Rank would be dished out for TrueHalo tourney victories and is controllable via admin. You can use it however you want! The gamertag TRUEHALODOTCOM was going to be primarily for holding tournaments and we have a beautiful flash program we use to display results (any gamertag can be put in to it) here is the link to that page: http://www.truehalo.com/halowinners/ and the screenshot is below



There are sooo many features just like myspace. You can add music, videos, pictures. You can even rescrict videos or image sizes. One note on videos, is that if you plan to upload videos then you need a dedicated server. The way we have it now, users can embed video. Saves on bandwidth and the need of a dedicated server. I didn't like the forum format of the software, and the sofware allowed to use 3rd party programs for the forums, such as phpbb and vbulletin. Phpbb is free so we used it, and have a customized skin as shown in the screenshot below.<br>



Users are automatically logged in to the forum when they are logged into truehalo.com and click on the forum link.

If you visited the site and created a profile, you will notice that there is GOOGLE ADSENSE in the header and footer of every page... This gives the owner a chance to earn some money on clicks. We also have placed a couple other affiliate ads on the user profile pages.. such as GAMEFLY.
Owner can also add PAID MEMBERSHIP packages via Admin.. Say you want to have premium memberships.. say restricting the amount of features for regular memberships... you can.. i never did.. but you can

I plan a free push on godaddy.com where the domain is registered.

I also plan to have the site's host transfer that account to your name so we don't have to mess with the uptime or database. (paying $10 a mo. hostgator)
I am assuming buyer has a decent knowledge of computers and websites. It will also be assumed that buyer reads up on the software user's guide. The software also has a support forum online. These can be found at this link: DZOIC website. The support i will be offering will be limited in the capacity of getting the website transferred over to you. You will inherit the site how it is. If you want to modify something, some are as easy as reading the manual and doing it in the admin, some modifications are available on the DZOIC site, others require a Smarty programmer. I know a few programmers that we hired to help make this site a reality.
Site currently has 40+ users and new users sign on every week.. But you probably can promote better than I can.

it's a total community site... it does have a phpbb forum, but it also has everything that myspace has... IM, BLOG, CHAT, UNLIMITED USER PROFILES, VIDEO UPLOAD, HOT OR NOT, MUSIC UPLOAD, FRIENDS LIST, COMMENTS, BULLETINS, EVENTS ETC

One of those ideas I wish I had thought of.

Would be easy to advertise in-game by just mentioning it and even halo PC (just use it as your username or mention it everytime you pwn someone).

Bit more than I'm willing to spend on an inactive site, but just wanted to say, great site!

Im confused.. All of the software here is free, from handshakes to the skins for phpbb.. If its not making any revenue can you tell me how do you justify the asking price?

Let me know, id be interested, but if it makes no revenue, all software is freeware, and has no traffic the site isnt worth much more than the 1 hour of time it took to install it..

Dragons5 - Thanks for the compliment on the site... We have done no real marketing or backlinking.. right now, we just use adwords at a budget of $2.50 a day... we have 50 members.. I just made it where a member has to have a picture to sign up.. haha.. that was kind of dumb.. ill probably turn that off, I also turned off the feature to require email validation to register... so if you want to go in and mess around with it... by all means
