OMG, Yahoo Search results redesigned also

First MSN,

Now Yahoo as well.

They got a facelift for their search results too. Not as much as Live, but just a few touches here n there.

This must of happened within hours after Live introduced their new redesigned results.

Plus, did u notice. Blazing fast results and nice results too when u search for something.

I mean Yahoo used to be a little slow throwing out search results. Not anymore. It's right up there with Google & Msn in terms of speed.

personally I like the new look and I think they are on the path.

But are they trying to keep up with the joneses? or simply just needed an new look?

Well I noticed a change on Live Search results a few hours ago.

I think they thought that they had to do something too.

I did perform a search on Yahoo today and results were good (speed and ranking) ... does anyone know if yahoo also has page rank system? if yes, how does one get them ?

I agree, Yahoo is now much faster and overall better for me.

I've noticed some huge improvements in Yahoo lately. They have one advantage over Google that they must exploit: fewer people are trying to game their search engine. They must do things different from Google and take advantage of the fact that fewer people are trying to cheat their way up the ratings. They can return better results than Google, but only if they make an effort to be different.

Yeah I notice the changes too, they improved the search box
once you type a word automatically there is a text box will appear
and there were suggestions about the keyword you type.

I think Yahoo search has improved a lot ... I have staretd using it a lot more now. It gives suggestions as you type in ... I think that is cool!
