Google is runnin' on slow

All the Google features such as GMail, Adwords, Adsense, and just plain old Google Search have been lagging a little more than usual for me. Google has something going on. I think soon Google will surprise us with a bunch of new features. Just be patient all you PR fanatics! Can you say alogrythm update!

It is been like this since the middle of September or something, slow load for couple days than back to normal and again. Today i tried to login to AdSense and it was a pain honestly.

Lets see what news is Google holding (if there is anything new to come).

Believe me google doesn't seem developing in any way. Gmail is a rubbish thing compare to yahoo mail or hotmail although I sometimes use it; and what about orkut? It`s just a trash box. Adsense is the only blood line of google. If it fails will people talk about google??? I doubt.

gmail is simple and straight to the point, and I don't have to go through a million pages like yahoo just to check my email


matter of fact, let me tell you what I have to do to check my yahoo email


goto yahoo.co.uk, get redirected to uk.yahoo.com
click "sign in"
fill out my info, and it doesn't allow any sort of auto-complete thing with firefox so I have to type everything out each and every time
let it set the cookies(which may I add only last for an hour, even though I bloody click remember me), then get redirected to uk.yahoo.com again
click "mail"
click "inbox"

or, if I was using IE, and I've logged in once before

goto gmail.com and wait for it to load


so yeah, I don't think gmail is crap
I love google.com because it's fast loading, and generally I get more info about the site within the search results
orkut probably sucks but I've never used it so tbh I can't say

Google just updated the GMail servers and made the amount of storage per account shoot up 10 MBs and now the counter is getting faster. Maybe that's why?

There's something wrong with their network is what I think - they might actually be running out of CPU power! All their sites seem to have noticeably slowed down.

You've bumped an old thread, mate. Google does not have performance issue, though they just made a big mistake and marked all sites including their own as infected and potentially dangerous.
