    Is it possible to set this up so the end user has a choice of the shadow offset left or right?

    tastysites, will try to do this second version and post back.:)

    t2000q, it's working fine, I just tried it, so did all previous user trials as i can see from the generated images.
    Check what the return message was. Maybe you were trying an unsupported file type, a large file, etc.

    A shadow orientation has been coded in. Now you can either choose the fading shadow to be to the left or right.

    2 news:

    1- in addition to the orientation of the shadow, a new important feature was coded allowing the user to specify the background of the page holding the image. This will allow the shadow color to fade smoothly to this color instead of the default fade to white one. sample http://www.dropshadow.info/test.html
