where i come to this conclusion?See this thread i post in Google section. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=496695#post4668896 . So some directories because were too popular and have many links lets say in their homepage was taking from Google like link farms. And that was the reason of the some people say (penaliziation)of these directories.Someone will tell me that look my directory have only 10 or 20 or 30 links in the homepage...its not a link farm so let me get it straight i dont believe that these directories are link farms i am sugesting that G thinks that they were or are link farms . Based on the fact that these directories are very popular and many wish to have a link on them.
Well dude, we'll see. We don't know what Googel has in store and the way it's panned out recently is that a lot of high-flying directories are out of Google index. You got a man at Google you know ... or you just speculating? Google has been saying for a while that selling links is bad. Now they seem to have put some meat on those words.
Of course i dont have any man in G.I am just share the conclusion i cameup after making a 2 hours talk with guys work or cooperate in G.I didnt get any straight answers but that was what i was able to understand from all general questions i made.
The jury is still well and truly out, only time will tell what Google has in store for directory owners, fingers crossed they don't crucify the industry.
That depends on us. They are playing their cards close to their chest but I think we have already seen a taste of things come. Some directories have lost a percentage point, but for most no change. Nothing too radical and I suspect that they are watching and waiting. Is this industry going to change direction or can we expect more of the same? Has the message got through or is it going to require a little more pressure?
