You have got to appreciate the irony, Google removes Aviva from the top of the search results to improve quality and then lets a hijacking site steel it's ranking: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=aviva+directory&btnG=Google+Search bhomiyo.com/en.xliterate/www.avivadirectory.com
ridiculous, kinda like how john chow can't rank number 1 for his name, but sites that talk abt him are there. wake up big G
http://www.bhomiyo.com/en.xliterate/www.biz-dir.co.uk << so is ur site... anysite you type there will come up.
Thats because it will go and retrieve the site if it doesn't already have a copy. Don't feed the monster!
Looks like there is another dp as well http://www.bhomiyo.com/en.xliterate/forums.digitalpoint.com I am sure G will remove that soon
Man what is google delivering!!! Yesterday, i saw this thread where google displayed very nice ads! And now they are going crap in the search results too.
Interesting hypothesis we have in our hands to find if there is something else behind all what has happening around here.
Yes... indeed their have been many unsolved mysteries lately and"All" have the answers ... or is it just "manipulation and treachery" from someone ... We will find out soon enough.. thx malcolm
I strongly believe Google is behind on the technology now. the scamers and spam guys are taking over Google or its Technology for a free and wild ride. Goolge probably know but they don't have an answer as of now
what is so stupid is that there are 1,000s of spam directories out there, yet they use Aviva trying to send out a message.
well frogengine is penalized as well, but at least the top 4 urls are owned by me as well, so here is the lesson: never put all eggs in the same basked http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...t=result&cd=1&q=frog+engine+directory&spell=1
I've noticed most directories are being translated by bhomiyo. I freaked out when i first noticed it. Posted about it. Since i made that post someone edited that post and removed the links and info i provided. I commented on the bhomiyo blog and the admin sent me an email that said Best of luck to all of us
What I don't understand is how the google bot picks those pages, they must be linked somewhere, which makes this an intentional hijacking to steal the content. Thousands of those pages are indexed by google. the duplicate content filter seems to work for non penalized sites. But still there is an issue with the crawler, google should not be indexing those pages in the first place.
