WTS: Magic Site - with revenue

I'm running very short on cash this month - so am being forced to sell the site:

The site contains magic videos, articles, optical illusions, very cool online magic tricks (there's an online card trick that reads your mind).

I purchased it on this forum for $100 about 6 weeks ago:

Since then I've:

• Added 8 pages of fresh content
• Added affiliate links for revenue generation
• Added adsense
• Updated title tags and internal linking to maximise SEO
• Added a subscription-based mailing list in exchange for free ebooks

The site is making revenue - $28.75 on Clickbank this month (I've only had it up since early September) (screenshot here)

Visitors averaged out over that time are approximately 40-50 uniques a day (see screenshot here)

So what do you get:

1. The site and domain name
2. The benefit of the mailing list (there is only 20 subscribers at the moment - but it's only been up for a few weeks) They are all double opt-in and represent a great opportunity to send out a newsletter loaded with affiliate links
3. List of affiliate programs I'm currently part of.
4. 9 extra pages of unique freshly written magic trick tutorials that have not yet been uploaded (the idea being that each one will also contain an affiliate link for extra profit)
5. There's a package of 10 free magic ebooks that come with it (currently linked to the subscription system) None are unique - but are a relatively attractive incentive to be used in some manner

Auction rules:

1. I'm setting a reserve at $100
2. I am not yet setting a BIN
3. The auction will end 72 hrs after the first bid

1. Ebooks are not original - they are a collection of resell ones that are available elsewhere
2. Most of the actual site text is original

As I responded to you on the sitepoint forum:

"Having had a look at the DP site - looks like I may have purchased a generic design unknowingly. Apologies to anyone who may have got a different idea. However above comments still hold re: the value in magictrance site.

If you look closely at both sites you will see the amount of work that has been put into building and improving on the magictrance.net site and building traffic. The mysticillusions site is simply that - the same design.

In comparing mysticillusions to magictrance.net:

1. It has about a quarter of the content of magictrance.net
2. It does not come with the 10 ebooks
3. It has no traffic or backlinks
4. It is not indexed
5. It has no revenue or mailing list."

Thanks for the bid - but current top bid is still $260 at sitepoint. I've given the top-bidder the chance to pull out - but as of yet - have not.

Regardless of similarity of template - potential bidders are paying for:

1. Heaps of extra content (both text and video added) and ebooks (including 9 new pages that have not yet been uploaded)
2. Traffic and SERPs
3. Established revenue.

$5 does not go close to covering this.

I noticed that too thats why I asked - but I guess this site has a bit more work put into it - basically I guess the template was the same.

 

I know that this site is more unique than the rest. I worked on it a bit myself. All pages have their own unique meta tags and new pages of original content have been added by both me and the current owner. Also new content has been added to a lot of the existing pages.

I also worked hard at getting backlinks for the site.

I would have to say that Magic Trance is the Best one, and most unique, of the magic sites.

Note that I do not own Magic Trance nor do I have any stake at all in it.
