I just started an auto-validation update. This is the first time where accounts are being suspended without any human review. Because of this, the system will kick out an email to the registered email address letting you know if the account was suspended, and it will also let you know what specific page ads were not found on.
It's not ready for a complete auto-update, but this is a good step towards that. One issue I'm running into now is the Google API only allows 1,000 queries per day, and it's becoming an issue to validate all sites in a single day because of that. So probably will need to split sites up into groups and do a certain number per day in a rotation. For example, each day revalidate 250 sites that have not been revalidated in the longest time.
Hi Shawn, why don't you just require each site to provide its own API key like for the Keyword tracker you could faze this in over a month and I am sure most people would be happy to comply.
Coop AD is using G API to get the number of pages indexed. This value for my sites is on the same level fo weeks now, but in the SERPS all my sites have more pages indexed.
Actually was thinking of making it optional already. And if you have one, give you the ability to revalidate/update weight as often as you want (with your own API key).
just one thing shawn,.... my site was down for an hour earlier.... maybe the email could be different rather than - cannot find ads, do cannot find site?
