Where do you get most of your traffic?

Where do you get most of your traffic? I haven't worked too much on promotion, so maybe all the advanced webmasters can tell us this?

Do you try SEOing a lot, relying on search engines, or do you rely on AdWords and the like?

Do you try to get linked from digg/fark/slashdot, or do you rely on promoting in forums?

Just wondering, and trying to strike up a conversation :)

If you are doing AdWords, how much are you spending/recieving? Are you getting positive ROI? What type of site?

MSN is a good source for every new web site. google is for the advanced sites that have proved to be trustworthy :) and adwords may be good for any copywriting site/sales letter etc.

I never get any traffic from MSN, although they are wasting my bandwidth like krazy!
Google gives me most traffic. I'm ranked #50 for a 1 mil + keyword, and it gives me around 30 links per day. Which beats other search engines.
I used to be ranked #1 for "How to start a sentence". Not much traffic for that, though.

The #1 traffic source to my site is from link exchange partners. Then yahoo, then msn, but not so many from google.

It depends on the site. My oldest site receives 85% of its traffic from Google. My newer sites seem to be a bit more balanced.

that's very much for msn, how many visitors does that represent? I am listed on top for some good keywords on msn but never get serious traffic.. same keywords on google do 10x or 20x times better

most Traffic from YAHOO and MSN, but they seem to both alternate each month.

One month YAHOO will have 50% of traffic and then the next month it will be MSN that has 50%.
