Revenue Share - who gets paid?

    I am a little confused about who gets paid for AdShare Revenue Sharing. The FAQ page on this includes the following:
    The first point suggests that you get a share if you start a thread, or participate in it.

    The second point suggest that you only get a share if you start the thread.

    So which is it?

    The first point doesn't help solve this question.

    To be honest, I'm not sure what the forth point means.

    Am I being dumb?

    If somebody views a thread using a post as an entry point, then the maker of that post has a 50% change of their ad being shown otherwise the thread starter has that 50% chance.
