Hopefully they will increase the % they give to publishers. Unlikely though

Yahoo Publisher Network and MSN Adcenter will push the already fast moving Adsense/Adwords. I hope Y and M give G a good push!

I agree with this because if Y and M push harder google will then make adsense better to keep everyone from leaving i can guess new ad formats and higher payouts of some sorts but i could be wrong.

Hi

I would hope they improve the 'contextual' part of the ads. I have a scuba diving site and every time I report a fatality I end up with car ads and insurance, rather than scubadiving ads. It is very poor I think, as the keywords 'scuba diving' are all over the site.

andy, try using section targeting to tell g to ignore the reports on fatalities. maybe that works.

2006 will surely bring a strong competitor for AdSense - YPN will go public. I cannot figure out what techincal changes G may adopt, perhaps they will increase the level of customization a bit and maybe better tracking. But the most important change I expect and probably will happen is the revenue sharing percentage between G and publishers.

Happy New Year!
May 2006 be the best earning year ever since you are an AS publisher

In the short time I have been involved with AdSense I would say the improvements required are:

1) More money - every one wants more morey!
2) Less fear (of being booted out) - there are a lot of worried users, maybe not justified though

well, google needs to protect its interests and the advertisers interests. i think it's ok, although a bit of hassle. i'd go for more money tho

I think Adsence needs to pay more per click in 2006. YPN pays 20 times more per click Yahoo Publisher Network and MSN Adcenter should make google give up some more money to the publishers or they will jump ship.
