It's impossible to market any products that I advertiser by using the mobile web (none of the advertisers I work with have mobile storefronts), so I won't be using mobile ads at all.
Don't trust all this new-fangled technology. I'm a big fan of keeping things simple. I'm guessing that the traffic levels would never justify the time and effort. But I may be proven wrong...
It could be (should be?) a big hit for local stuff or other things people to tend to do on the move - sports, news, directions, etc. I have a few smaller personal sites I may try and test since it's free. Not expecting much (because of markets, not the technology) so I won't be disappointed
I'm still unsure to be honest - I guess I'll just wait and see how things pan out over time. It does, however, look very interesting indeed ;-) Cheers Stewart
I ran these mobile ads about 3 months ago. It was good cheap traffic but of course I couldn't convert it due to the cell phone display issues. As others have said it would do great with local services.
something i am concerned about too however i do like google's feature that lets you view how your site looks on a mobile device has anyone else used this?
In case anyone is unsure where the preview tool is... http://www.google.com/m/search?mres...adtestmarkup=xhtml&adtestcarrier=us-all&hl=en
