Helloo there as the title suggests.. m making a website where in i wil be using adsense.. i wanted to know which site gives best results in adsense.. like wht topic shd the website be on... i was thinkin of makin the site on either of the two topics: 1. Brands and there Advertising plans 2. Resourses to get free stuffs at your home posted for free... which 1 of the above wil be nice.. or is there anyother u think wil give me results in adsenese .. plz suggest..
in which of the 2 are YOU an expert ?? that would be my choice to go for .. it's hard on you to publish about something just for money without any expert knowledge, wqithout any true experience or skills at all in that topic while when having true experience and knowledge its easy to create any number of content pages attracting traffic
well i can give quality contents on both of them.. but then i wanted to know the value of the keywords tht my site wil have ...
It sounds to me, from your description, that #1 site would be primarily content and #2 site would be links to resources. This makes me think that #1 would be a better site for Adsense ads. With #2, your visitors are more likely to click on one of your resource links, never to return to click on your Adsense links. If you don't keep visitors on your own site, they can't click on your Adsense ads. This is why directory sites and search sites don't do well.
Does it really matter? He'll quit both sites in a month, maybe less. It's impossible to continually update/have enthusiasm for a site that requires a lot of time and effort when you're just in it "for the money", and the money doesn't come immediately, which is always the case.
jack m ready for the time & efforts required.. and ahearn thankz for the idea .. now i think i'll wrk on both the sites callin it as one..
Stick with what you know and love. That way it will be easy for you to write articles and build content. Theme based sites are really good for adsense.
okie got it.. so if i make a site on a particular topic say "brands & advertising" it wil wrk fine.. ??? thankz a lot..
by competition u mean.. so some uncommon terms or highly common terms so tht there is a competition..
Your ideal situation would be a niche where there are a lot of people looking for information, but not a lot of sites competing. I managed to find such a niche, and it happens to be something I know a lot about. (And it's not the site in my profile.) It now makes nearly as much in AdSense as all of my other sites combined, with 1/10 of the traffic. So the website most suited for AdSense is something that you know something about, can add content to regularly, and that you know something your competitors don't -- or there isn't much competition but still a lot of potential visitors.

This is SO true. As I've said before on these forums, you want to make a sight that appeals to your readers, first and foremost. Your second priority is to make a site that appeals to consumers looking for a product, service or information that your advertisers want to sell them. The best click is a click that ends in a product or service purchased. The worst click is a click that ends in the advertiser's window being closed in 5 seconds after loading the home page. When you finish each and every site update, ask yourself: "If I was advertising on this website, what would I change?" Then go and change it and ask the question again.
