Does Yahoo Publisher work for password-protected pages

Hello,

Does anyone know if Yahoo Publisher is able to display ads in a password protected web application that requires a login? This is something that Adsense does not do. It would be a great competitive advantage is YP can do this.

Thanks!

The ads will show, but I would check with Yahoo before I started running them to make sure they don't have a problem with it.

They need to send their spider to the page, if the spider can not get to the page, then they can only serve up RON ads, at most. Google would serve up PSAs in this situation.

If their spider can't make it in, then you'll have issues later! Start making money from a password protected page and I'll bet they will contact you

That was my first thought, but I tried it on a password protected admin only page and it served up relevant ads. I think the javascript must capture the page title or it returns results based on the domain name or based on the ads it serves the unprotected pages - but I would still contact yahoo before I did it.

i.e. Those ads which should appear across an entire network, regardless of "relevance" to given content.

MrDeeds- YPN does deliver ads to password protected pages. However, Rustybrick is right, if we can't crawl the page we will deliver up RON ads or more general ads.
