Someone sent me a pm asking about what kind of experience i have doing this.. so i figured id share with everyone. Ive been doing this now for 11 months as a full time job, but i did not just start independently, i got most of my information from another person who taught me everything about doing directory submissions, how to get a high acceptance rate and ways to avoid declination into the directories. Of course over time you learn most of this on your own. I also have a free web directory.. So i also know what reasons a submissions is declined. what is approval ratio...??

Approval ratio is generally around 70%.. There are other factors though.. Like titles and descriptions that you use. Most directories have the same submission guidelines if you just follow them most of them will be approved. Another thing to expect is after your submissions.. you should receive around 33%-38% confirmations from your submissions.. this number is taken from over the 100's of sites ive done service for, this is because the owners of the directories turn off the "send email confirmation".
