Genuine Business Services Website for Sale

I am considering selling my website www.businessservicesuk.com due to starting a degree course in a few weeks time.

The site is on the first 3 pages of Google for most of its keywords/phrases. I think the main key phrase 'business services' is listed on page 2 of www.google.com out of 1.8 billion pages. On www.yahoo.co.uk the phrases 'business services' and 'business service' are well embedded on page 1.

This site has grown out of all proportion over the past 6 months. The general nature of the site means adding and removing sections is very easy.

This is a genuine business website, that has been extensively worked on.

It will not be sold for peanuts. If you would like to make a genuine offer then PM me.

You have not mentioned UV or Revenue, its hard to make an offer without knowing this?

Revenue is a difficult one as the financial services are based on commission and can take up to 6 months to sort out. I currently have 32 customers in the pipeline, a guess and that's all it would be around £30k

Regarding site advertising, this has been around £1,200

As you can see there are no banners advertising although I am swamped with offers.

The Web Services side is around £2500

The potential is there to make this into a very lucrative busines, however like anything only hard work make it a success

Your site seems to offer everything related to business, but not sure what?
Anyhow, what revenue your site has earned and how much do you expect for it?

AMS if you are unsure what the site offers I wouldn't bother.

I guess it is a little odd a business services website offering business services...lol

 

And you think with this attitude you can sell your site...lol
For everything on your site it says contact us..if you are so good in advising about business why are you selling your site for?
You have mentioned your expectations (not to sell for peanuts) but you have not mentioned how much have you earned via your site despite I and the other poster have asked for it?
Do you expect us to guess the price of your site on basis of what?
1st rule of business is to be clear and define the baseline!

From anyone else I'd accept that; from someone who claims to offer business and financial consultancy I'll say it's bunkum. Non-receipt of funds is no barrier to including a sales invoice in the annual accounts. What sales revenue have you booked for the first six months?

You're not an established business so don't have many years of revenue proof behind you. That makes it all the more imperative that you show how good your six months have been. If you haven't raised a single invoice then this is all hot air. Potential commission is about as useful as "website potential" (which website doesn't have potential?) which is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. You don't have a business for sale; it's a pipe dream.

 

Did I say I could not produce receipts? The financial institutions I work for would be more than happy to provide all the information required. You presume a lot, I was simply answering a question raised by another poster.

 

Huh, what the heck are you talking about? I raised no question about receipts (which relate to monies spent). I did, however, ask if you've raised any invoices yourself. Explanation: Have you billed anyone? Have you earned any money?

Don't need to. I checked your domain reg - the domain is less than a year old. You're hardly likely to have several years' worth of audited accounts. But, prove me wrong, and list your net profits for the last three years.

I'll read that as you throwing the toys out of the pram because you've been caught out on the zero earnings. The site has no income, you're bailing because there's no future in it, we get the picture.

 

The only person saying it has zero income is your good self...lol

So to date, the site has had no actual income? Projected income is great, but you also need to be honest about what you have actually pocketed, if anything.

 

I will need to restate what I said in post 3.

I have been honest and upfront about the projected income from commission on funding related clients.

£1,200 from the directory

and £2,500 from web related services.
