Already done that, and I'm urging the others to do the same. But he just can't get away with this, some action needs to be taken, otherwise DP will become a haven for scammers like him.

Do not openly harass other members (thats my job) regardless of your business transactions with them, leave a negative itrader if you are unhappy.

Give him a negative iTrader, report the sales thread to the mod team, sit back & wait for a response.

There's nothing more you can do really, besides possibly file a PayPal claim OR chargeback to try to get your money back.

Paypal won't help, since this was covered under 'Virtual goods'.

Gnet, I'm not harassing any member, in fact we're the ones being harassed. Please take a look at that thread.

Look, calling other members scammers is considered harassment at dp, mods will not interfere with this situation as dp doesn't take responsibility for any transactions made here it serves as a platform only.

If you ask mods to ban him - answer is no.
If you post around saying hes a scammer - you'll get infractions

the only thing you can do is leave a negative itrader.

You really think -ve itraders and reps will really help?
We need to get these people out of DP so as to make it more secure a place.
With so many scammers on the rise here i think we require more stringent steps to be taken than just giving away -ve itraders and reps.

Think about it $250 is NOT a small amount! And 250 is just one person. He's scammed more than 1 person ofcourse.

I support you proxyeffect. And do you think it really is a good trait to OPENLY DENY a refund that you promised ?

I'm not asking DP to take responsibility for the transaction...but I'm sure any forum with a marketplace would alteast take action against those who misuse it.

Thanks ProxyEffect for letting me know,

I was planning to go ahead and do business with killafawk.

My perception with DP crew differ on this, because I do feel its not easy to make out with Reps and iTrades, regarding the scam a member doing.

I think there should be different category where 'Burn Out' issues can be posted & solved or somewhere it should be allowed because if these things are surpassed, more people are going to see it and do it & then it will get bigger n bigger.

    Regards

p.s. I know I have less no. of posts, and maybe no iTrade..but I'm DP member
