I purchased this business from another member and was planning an all out attack to market the heck out of this.

What is being sold here is a complete business. The business is known as ViScript and its all about video blogging. This is not another affiliate program, Adsense site, or anything of the like. With this business you will be in your own niche since there isn't anything out there that offers all of the features found in this sofware (at least none that I know of). Here, let me tell you what all is included in this sale:

• Full ViScript script software with FULL rights to install on unlimited domains and also to RESELL at $100 a copy! Also, this is Version 2.0! Script is 4 months old and is stable.

There has been one copy of Master Private Label rights to this software and it sold for $1200US. The agreement is that this individual cannot use any brands, names, graphics, packaging, or anything related to ViScript. They must repackage the script before they can do anything with it. Thus far, I have not seen this individual selling the script on these forums or anywhere else for that matter.

Now allow me to explain what this may mean to you if you were to purchase this business. It could mean that you end up with a competitor selling the same product under a different name. It could mean that the other party takes a different direction with the script and re-writes it all together to the point that it is different enough. No matter what the case may be, one should not worry so much about what the other party might or might not do. No matter what business you get into nowadays, there will always be competition. All that matters is what you do with this copy of the script. This would be YOUR business and you too can go in many directions with it based on your marketing experience and financial resources. Most of the hard work has already been done for you. This business is both turnkey and established for this is aleady Version 2.0. Price testing and and a teeny bit of marketing has already been put out there to show you the potential demand for this product out in the marketplace. There has been an extremely limited amount of marketing done for this script, just a couple of forums as you will see in the screenshots. No promotions have even been done here at DP!

Revenue Details:

There are a few different ways to earn money through selling the software. First, the website which is only two months old has garnered 3 direct payments of $100 each.

The website is also automated, basically when the user clicks the buy button and they finish making there payment they are re-directed back to the ViScript website where they are automatically generated a username/password which they can use to gain access to the product, forum, and on-site membership section. This automates the ordering process and saves the owner the time from manually creating accounts and is very secure but it will need to be tweaked if you plan on using your own system.

There was an affiliate program for ViScript through ClickBank and it had been running for close to 1 month now but has only generated one additional sale (See Screenshots). There were 5 affiliates before I took ownership of the site. I could not acquire the Clickbank account from the previous owner, so you will have to set a new one up.

The last source of revenue is the biggest income earners and that is from two forums, one is called WickedFire which has brought in $1200 in sales and the other is the Warrior Forums which has been the biggest income earner to date. I was running a sales offer on both of these forums and the price was $50 US, which seemed to be the sweet spot on price because I received lots of sales in a short period of time and also got a very good response from the software. If you frequently visit these types of forums, I'm sure you've noticed that many products are priced to sell for under $20, often times under $10. So you can see the value of this script just right there.

Only $40 dollars was spent to place the offer on the forums which made a profit of over $3000 (this includes the Private Label Rights for $1200). The previous owner also brought in $150 US from the forum postings during our negotiations! Those payments are not included in the screenshots and I do not think I can hassle the previous owner to take screenshots of those 3 sales. That is the reasoning behind only posting $1750 in the headling instead of the $3000 since part of that is the rights. Unless you choose to sell the rights on a regular basis, that is up to you. You can verify all these numbers by adding up all the amounts in the screenshots and see what you come up with.

Traffic Details:

ViScript software was actually being sold longer then the ViScript website has been online. In the screenshots it shows you all of the ViScript website traffic as well as the ViScript landing page traffic, the ViScript landing page was professionally designed and it has only been up and running for about a week, this is why the screenshot only shows traffic for a short period of time. Since I took ownership of the site there was a down period of about 3 days because of domain, hosting, file transfers, setup, etc. The traffic stats for where it resides now can be seen here.

I would also like to mention that the website is a PageRank zero only because it has not been promoted enough for search engine purposes. You won't find any Pagerank predictions or backlinks just yet. Not necessarily a bad thing given the fact that the income alone from other promotional methods is sure enough to spoil you!

The site is not promoted through PPC, all this traffic is purely Organic, Type-In, and the members of the software telling there friends about it. However, there is at least one person promoting the affiliate program through the use of PPC. That affiliate has been contacted about new ownership taking over.

And probably the most important question - Why am I selling this business?

I originally purchased the business to actually take advantage of all the untapped marketing venues. Do a search on all of the popular forums and there is so much talk about VIDEO. I envisioned that this could be a 2-3 month project for how I wanted to market this script. But honestly, I took on 3 much larger projects just this past week that I am absolutely passionate about. I would hate to see this go down the drain, not to mention the stable income it can immediately provide someone. Just look at the screenshots and you'll see that most of those sales are only within a 4-5 day period. Incredible! And that's just with $40 in adverts and the time it took to post in a couple of forums. No borderline blackhat techniques here. In fact, you can inject another promo offer in the same forums, including this one and may be able to earn the entire starting bid of this auction within a short time!

Why am I not at least asking 12-24 months revenue?

Because I don't have to. I'm not being cocky or anything, I just don't need to get that kind of money out of this. And besides, with all of what I have provided here, the bidding will dictate it's REAL worth. Worth is in the eye of the beholder, it's what you feel it's worth to you, not me. Have you ever owned something valuable that cost you more money to keep as opposed to giving it away at a loss? Such as a great domain that you have renewed for 5 years at $10/yr.? You think, "Oh, that's only $50". Yep, but how about you times that by how many you actually have in your portfolio and multiply that by how many years you've paid and not still haven't built any sites on them? If you've got a domain portfolio like me, the annual renewal fees for all of my parked domains costs me a few thousand dollars.

So don't be a fool. You can either purchase dozens of MFA's, Proxies, empty directories, and whatever else and earn yourself $50/day or get yourself a real business and possibly do 10 times that with much less effort. Face it, you already spend 4-8 hours on these forums thinking that you can find that perfect web business for a couple hundred bucks and turn around and make $50 bucks a day. One of the secrets to wealth is to grab onto one thing and focus on it hard.

Well, the time has come to focus on an opportunity to build something solid and long term. Spend your time making money, not chasing it.

 

Sorry, don't mean to bump, but I've had two reports from SP that my site up for auction is down. The ad posted there is exactly the same one here. I have checked and re-checked all of the links and they are all working for me. Since I have not had anyone comment here about what is up for sale, I'm wondering if anyone here is running into the same. If anyone has, please report. I would appreciate it!

Can the script be used for manual upload of personal videos as well as or instead of the automated downloads?

 

Regarding the script, it's made to automatically pull videos into your blog. This Wordpress plugin wasn't really made to pull video directly from your computer and post it on your blog. For that you'll need another script or software.

Or, you could upload your videos to Youtube or any of the sites mentioned in my post first and then have ViScript pull them from those sites.

This script was purposely designed this way so that you could stream videos on your site, but not necessarily host them. Most people want to feature videos that they do not own, thus the potential for copyright violations.
