In Photoshop everything I type shows up in capital letters... in all fonts. I'm not in caps lock. I have no idea what the problem is. Help would be appreciated! Luke
Last night my Photoshop suddenly went to all caps. Your reply to the question solved my problem today saving me from uninstalling Photoshop. Again, thanks!!
I'm having this problem, but I'm using PSE and I don't have a character palate... or at least I can't find it if I do. Can anyone help me?
Select your pen tool, and click on the image to bring up the cursor and type something. Highlight the text you typed and press Ctrl+t on the keyboard, and it should bring up the character palette. If that doesn't work, please reply!
My suggestion is that when you use the tool also go thourgh with all the his properties in property bar......
I am using Photoshop Elements 9 and all of a sudden my text is in all caps. I don't have the character palette in my version t. My caps lock is not on. I've tried other shortcuts suggested (ctrl+alt+m and ctrl+alt+y) and those didn't work either. I uninstalled and re-installed the software and it's still in all caps. I use Photoshop almost everyday, so really need to find out how to fix this. Any other ideas? Thank you so much! Shelley
Eight years later from the original date of this post and the solution is still helping people. Needed this today as I had the same problem and didn't know the solution.
