How much did you earn on your 1st day?

I know this is just a frivolous fun thread, but i'm curious to know what people made on their first ever day of AdSense. I had my first day today with my new blog, and made $0.75 from 2 clicks. I feel my blog (in signature if you want it - I won't post it here so it doesn't look like i'm promo-ing it) is in a fairly small niche, and I have some good articles ready to post that i've written, I just need to learn more SEO and link building skills. I find that in such a small niche it's a great idea to perosnally contact and link with the other (bigger) sites in your niche - say 10 sites, because there just simply aren't 500 directories that you'd probably get into at first. I've learnt so much just by sorting out the WordPress code for the adverts today...such as only being allowed a maximum of 3 ads on a page. I'm rambling now, but that's because i'm ecstatic to have made 75 cence.

Also, to add a serious side to the thread - do the adverts placed by Google get more relevant with more time/content? I find that the ads i've got at the moment aren't too relevant to my (only 3 articles) of content, but a blog (the only other blog I could find that is in the same niche as me) has good, relevant ads. I'm guessing time and content will heal this problem?

Yeah, in fact the first day is really actually in the red rather than in the black because of hosting costs and all the time invested in getting the site up. If you're expecting to turn a true profit on the first day, you're either grossly mistaken or you have significantly better luck than me.

$13.00 ... dont know how, nor why..but then it died down amazingly quick...then i built up my momentum again.

On my first first day I earn $0.81 but I think it was half day. Either way it made me happy to earn something online for the first time.

I don't really know what my official first day is because I had a few impressions from friends that I showed the site to.

No clicks, though, because I was so paranoid about being banned that I made sure they didn't click a thing.

I made $2.36, but that was mostly from my own clicks (a couple from home, a couple from work, a couple from school, I had heard about the bannings) and getting a couple friends to click on stuff.
