End of POFclone isn't near, it's here.. We do a re-start this week, advice is welcome

Ok, I started a dating software venture, we've started selling clones of POF (plentyoffish.com), POF owner Markus and his lawsuit contact me and now we're toast

let me tell you the short story.. since the POF site became popular we started creating a similar software they use, so we started to market the product this summer, unfortunately with a lot of hassle since we had a lot of bugs, big stressin' times and also the script became so popular that I received a phone call, email and letter from Markus the owner and his lawsuit.. not a good begin of starting a venture though.. because our product name was POFclone, and started to sell the product through the website www.pofclone.com

Anyways, we don't want to find the trouble anymore so now we started with a new product name and website: www.bestdatingscript.com. Not online yet, but will be tomorrow. This time we have fixed all bugs, errors etc. and now it's finally time to market this product like it used to be.

My question now: can I get some extra publicity (through forums, blogs, websites etc.) because of all these happenings? Because next week we start all over again with a refurbished product, product name and website. Maybe it is a stupid questions, but I know there are a lot of creative people here with good experiences in marketing and in life.

Why do you think you should be allowed to profit from his brand?

And to leave the site up after he threatens a lawsuit? You shouldn't test him, he is worth millions and sueing you won't mean shit to him, don't call his bluff, bc its probably not.
