nothing ultimate about that list. MFA are created in hundreds and they keep popping up.

The method doesnt work that great. So many low paying sites, you can't even come close to filtering them all. They make the market.

IMO is better to manually block the MFA sites appearing frecuently on your site. Maybe your earnings won't increase but your visitors won't be so dissapointed.

It was good for me but for a little time then things came back to normal again, 1 cent for a click, I wonder why Google is allowing those advertisers on the first place, they are really pissing us the webmasters off.

    @ajsa52
Indeed.. better do this manual. Not that much work.

Offtopic, but they should increase the amount of urls for the Competitive Ad Filter..

We would like to thank you for your post and comments, but you appear to have misunderstood the purpose of AdsBlackList.com.

If you are solely interested in making a quick $, the AdsBlackList service will be of little interest to you. If you wish to build a long-term, stable & profitable foundation with Google whilst providing quality content to your users, AdsBlackList will help.

We accept some MFA sites pay slightly higher per click but these clicks often result in your visitors becoming frustrated at being sent to a junk web site. You ‘may’ earn slightly more for that particular click, but the visitor isn’t likely to click another advert in future… so they are actually reducing your earnings in the long-term.

AdsBlackList is designed to remove the junk adverts which appear through the use of keyword arbitrage. We have over 10,000 active users putting their filter to good use. Our members know the key to making money from Adsense is to provide quality content both on the site and in the adverts.

The service is not designed to transform your Adsense earnings overnight, nor is it advertised as such.

    Abhik...

Although we have over 10,000 users who regularly use the service, we cannot possibly cover every niche. We can only apologise that the service did not yield acceptable results for your particular site.

It's also worth noting that any decrease (or indeed, increase) in earnings after implementing AdsBlackList could purely be a natural fluctuation in earnings which every publisher experiences.

We would ask you keep one thing in mind before shelving the service...

An advert without a visitor is quite literally, a waste of space. Give your visitors quality content and the clicks & revenue are sure to follow.

umm, no... sounds like it's time for a lesson on how mfa'ers operate.

mfa sites pay less, not more, per click... that's the main reason that people want to get rid of 'em.

mfa sites get high ranking in the ad block by manipulating the keywords and ad text to encourage a higher click rate... google ranks advertisers in the ad blocks according to both the cpc price and the predicted ctr.

since mfa'ers come and go on a weekly or even daily basis, adsense blacklist has no way of knowing exactly what ads are appearing on your site... so the best way to handle mfa ads is to manually delete 'em yourself.

the competitive ad filter has limited space, so the only thing that should be in there is mfa urls that you have seen on your specific site... don't use a list of urls that are appearing on other sites, because it'll most likely waste slots in your filter.

The majority of MFA sites pay less than others, but that isn't always the case.

"since mfa'ers come and go on a weekly or even daily basis, adsense blacklist has no way of knowing exactly what ads are appearing on your site... so the best way to handle mfa ads is to manually delete 'em yourself."

Actually, that's where you're wrong. AdsBlackList.com can analyse the ads which appear on your site (and pages within the site) and use this data to generate a tailored list.

Do you think it's viable to manually change your filter on a daily basis considering the sheer amount of MFA sites out there? That hardly seems like a cost/time efficient way to manage your ad campaign!

i'm not going to pay for something that i can do better myself, for free.

all i have to do is look at a few of the most heavily-trafficked pages, or even just enter the urls into http://www.labnol.org/google-adsense-sandbox/

on top of that, adsblacklist can't tell me if the ads on my site are targeted poorly, which google does a lot of lately... people don't click on ads that are not relevant to the content, so in a way bad targeting by google is worse than mfa ads.

there is no substitute for evaluating your advertisers on a daily basis, even if you just spend 5 minutes at it.
