What is StumbleUpon?

StumbleUpon is a web browser plugin that allows its users to discover and rate webpages, photos, videos, and news articles. These webpages are typically presented when the user -- known within the community as a Stumbler -- clicks the "Stumble!" button on the browser's toolbar. StumbleUpon chooses which new webpage to display based on the user's ratings of previous pages, ratings by his/her friends, and by the ratings of users with similar interests. i.e. it is a recommendation system which uses peer and social networking principles. There is also one-click blogging built in as well. Users can rate, or choose not to rate, any webpage with a thumbs up or thumbs down, and clicking the Stumble button resembles "channel-surfing" the web. Which sites are most compatible with genuine StumbleUpon traffic?

Most sites work perfectly with StumbleUpon. Adult sites, sites lacking in content, or MFA sites don't do as well. If you have a blog, it is very effective to use this service on every article. Deep-linking is encouraged with StumbleUpon, use it on every page on your site!​

How do you do the stumbles and reviews?

As always, I do them manually. They are from the same IP but I've never had any problems with this.​

What kind of report do you give when you finish?

I will link you your sites SU page. You will see the reviews there. The stumble ticker will show 40 because that's the max StumbleUpon shows. For example, DP's SU page. I will also link you to the tag pages you are featured on. ​

I've had my site done for over a day now I think, featured on 8 tags and had my 50 reviews, however I don't seem to have that much traffic. According to awstats I've had 75 visits from StumbleUpon. I have not used their site before so I'm not sure how much traffic I should be getting. I'll update in this thread if I do get more traffic, but obviously that is out of the hands of the OP - I've got what I paid for. Featured in 8 I guess is pretty good and I have my 50 reviews as promised.
