I know there are several posts on this, but I would like some up to date answers.. I have a site that is Adult in nature, and I need a payment processor. I have a merchant processor that has approved me, but after reading the terms of the contract... not great. I am looking for no sign up fees.. Reasonable monthly fees and discount rates (I could make a concession on discount rate if everything else is right) Preferrably a 3rd party processor so I don't have to have a direct merchant processor contract. Be able to conduct business online Low or no reserve Let me know if such a thing exists....
You wont find any Adult 3.party processor withour at least 10% rolling reserve nor is it possible to avoide the setup fee which is more a Visa/MC registration fee and typically about USD 750.00 Once said, then I would go with CCBILL.COM or Epoch Systems, they are the leaders in this industry and every major Adult website is using them. There system works, they have everything what you need for your business to take off and finally they pay on time for years now. Thats my suggestion.
Where are you located ? Visit the link in my sig, that might be a solution for you, by the way for which processors did you sign up ? CCBill, etc are just too expensive.
By the way I am also looking for a solid billing processor able to handle visa for canadian webmasters for one of my client. Let me know if there is any one in EU
10% rolling reserve is ok.. $750 deposit is rediculous!! I have found a few processors that look ok, but they hit you with a pretty high monthly fee.. It may not be avoidable. This site is not worth a $750 upfront deposit.. It is somewhat an experiment/speculative.. I live in Texas, USA btw
Stormpay used to accept adult payment processing but, for an unknown reaso my account was deleted. Perhaps innactivity so if you try this, make sure to log in on a regular basis.
StormPay says they are not accepting new users currently. I checked with CCbill and the problem is it appears they only bill for memberships. I basically sell a sex toy type product, and paypal said no.. Any suggestions?
I was able to find you a great merchant service provider that can support high risk merchants. http://www.merchantservicesnj.com/high_risk
