Inconsistency in SERPS

    Hi everyone,

I'm new to SEO and I have this problem.

I have a blog site that I set up about a month ago.. last week when I checked it in Google it ranked #2 and #3 in intitle and inanchor searches respectively and #1 when using both intitle and inanchor, and also found on page 14 in regular search. But as I checked it now, it's only showing up when using both intitle and inanchor(last in the list of results) and it's not showing on regular, intitle and inanchor searches.

What could have been the factors that caused this? I am constantly updating my site and putting up original/unique articles based on my target keyword.

Hopefully someone can shed a little light on this.

    Thank you

Google is changing a lot these days...
We're close to PR update also so this could be your answer.

Just give it some time ;)

I always notice 'inconsistencies' in the SERPs aswell. One day my site is on page 2, then a few days later it's on page 3, then back to page 2. They're always changing, don't worry about it though. Just keep working on it.

Dont worry, for now, work on your link building, publish articles and improveyour meta tags. Good Luck !!

This happens pretty often especially to newer sites where their links are not from the major leaders of the industry.. a change in the algo will most likely shaken these sites' SERP..

It is natural to Google... because of Google constants updates and changes in algorithm...;)

Another problem with fresh content sites is that google spiders your site every day, maby 3-4 times per day, so if you have a bad hosting company and your site is down and google don't find your site...that's it. It will brign you to the 100+ place.

    Comming back will take time.

It happened to me and to a lot of my customers. ;)
