Tutorial: How to instantly get notified when your site gets indexed by Google
Ok I just tested this and it works.
1, First go to: http://mruptime.pingdom.com/ and download the firefox extn. 2, Search: http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Awww.yoursite.com 3, Open the MrUptime extn and add the following parameters. Watch for: Text String | Should not Exist on Page and enter did not match any documents. 4, Add click on Add Watch. Now you will get a Alert immediately whenever your site gets indexed by google. You can use the same trick with other SE's too. |

My new website got indexed in under 24 hours so there was no need for this for me.

Step one: Make site.
Step two: Get linked. Step three: Move on. Who the hell is sitting around waiting for an index these days? I hate to think about all the wasted business effort and time out there. Wow. |

Phew. lot of extension and checking involved.
How about checking site: command once a day for newbies. If you know how to get indexed in 1 day, you prolly wont need those notifiers. |

How about just typing in your domain in the search box for even bigger newbies.
![]() site.com Yep, it's there. Or, nope, it's not. Not sure about anyone else, but I've got this nifty Google search box right in my browser. Talk about easy.

That's actually the search string that Sebastin puts in the MrUptime box. It's a site:domain.com directive. But instead of doing that every day, you can be notified. It's an awesome trick.
