In addition to google answers (http://answers.google.com/answers/) Yahoo also released a people-powered search page.

HP11 is an unknown quantity at this point
I haven't used it yet, but I read an actual Yahoo answers question where someone asked 'why should anyone should use Yahoo, instead of Google?' You can actually use their search function to dig up all of this - some interesting and funny stuff.
