They will remain for sure. They are very much dedicated and you dont need to spend in even a minute for Forum administration except for vb related stuff.

Revenues: I just added the advertisements, so cannot tell you anything on that.

I noticed there seems to be a lot of people posting files for full cd downloads. Isn't this illegal? Will there be legal issues to deal with?

    Why are you selling?

People who are posting are mentioning only the links which is hosted elsewhere. As long as your server do not have any illegal files hosted ,you do not have any problems.

I am selling this because, i am in the pipeline of buying another website and i am consolidating some amount for it.

I havent advertised this website anywhere. It just spread by mouth. The members and mods of the community are very much dedicated. The traffic did not increase in a single day. You can easily see the growth from the stats. Also, you can see the amount of activity happening by looking at the forum itself.

This is a great niche guys.Think and post your bids.

Nice site. Just a friendly comment from me. I doubt that Google will let you keep your adsense account when they see the content of this site.

    Note that I said "I doubt" :)
Its a grey zone because it is connected with illegal downloads. I would write an email to Google and ask if its ok to put adsense there. I have a feeling though that they will ask you to remove the ads. If not, very good news for you:)

    A reply from them :

    Hi XXX,

Thanks for checking in with us about implementing AdSense on
www. JazzyMusic . org. I'm happy to let you know that you're welcome to place
Google ads or an AdSense for search box on any website that complies with
our program policies (http://www. google .com/adsense/policies).

There's no need for us to review the site beforehand - simply copy and
paste the ad code or search code onto your website, and we'll
automatically detect and serve ads to the new site. If you'd like specific
instructions on implementing the Google code, you might wish to have a
look at our Code Implementation Guide at
    http://www. google .com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=44511.

While we look forward to helping you monetize your other sites, please
don't forget that we do monitor all sites displaying Google ads or an
AdSense for search box to ensure compliance with our program policies. If
we happen to find that a site is violating our policies, we may contact
you and ask that you remove the Google code.

    We appreciate your cooperation.

For additional questions, I'd encourage you to visit the AdSense Help
Center (http://www. google .com/adsense_help), our complete resource center
for all AdSense topics. Alternatively, feel free to post your question on
the forum just for AdSense publishers: the AdSense Help Group
    (http://groups. google .com/group/adsense-help).

Look at the questions which i had asked in the initial mail. You mean to say that the adsense executive didn't read it and gave an automated reply ?

I think that the adsense staff read it and send you a standard answer. This is not the kind of answer I get when they have actually visited my sites and reviewed them.
If you are like me and dont want to risk anything I would definitely ask them again and told them to actually look at the site. Better to be safe than sorry.
