Firefox and SEO

For those of you that don't already know, Firefox has a number of great tools for website development and SEO.

Here's a list of fantastic plugins:

    SEOQuake
General set of parameters consists of such parameters as Google PR (Google PageRank of current page), Google Index (Number of indexed pages. Google version), Google link (Number of links, pointed to the current page. Google version (Except links from concerned domain)), similar parameters for many other search engines (Yahoo, MNS, Yandex, Rambler, Baidu) and some other miscellaneous parameters.

    Niche Watch Tool
This wonderful SEO extension provides you the technical information required to beat your competitor websites in serps. It gives you backlinks number, indexed pages, keyword occurences on the page, page rank, all in anchor, all in title and all in text rank for both domain and webpage information.

    SearchStatus
Display the Google PageRank, Alexa rank and Compete ranking anywhere in your browser, along with fast keyword density analyser, keyword/nofollow highlighting, backward/related links, Alexa info and more.

All three are favorites of mine. The nofollow highlighting is REALLY handy for SEO. There's another tool from http://www.smartpagerank.com that is really handy, but duplicates some of the above tools. At the moment they appear to be down.

Suggest any other tools, if you'd like. :)

I just tried Niche Watch tool but can't figure out how to use it...??? It's not appearing anywhere in Firefox, even though it says the plugin is installed.

A great list... I have been using seoquake and niche watch for a long time already and they proved to be really useful.

    One more to add:

http://tools.seobook.com/ - displays everything you can only imagine: from page rank to supplemental results... (plus backlinks and other great details for sure) - pls have a look at the attachment. Sometimes I use it more often than seoquake however both of them are really useful.

You said that complete ranking anywhere in your browser.....what does that mean?

That's actually quoted from the site. I suspect they meant 'Display the Google PageRank, Alexa rank and Compete ranking anywhere in your site'.

That would make more sense to me anyway.

No :) they actually meant anywhere in your browser - this means that your can set where you want the tool to be situated on you firefox: e.g. right bottom corner, left bottom corner, etc.
