darkxc has scammed me

darkxc has scammed me for e-gold to MB exchange.

He exchanged my $7.9 e-gold to $7.5 MB.
Today I have seen that he has charged back that amount from my Moneybookers account.
May be he paid to my moneybookers by CC & then charged back it.

I am really lucky that I hadn't exchanged a biggie with him as he was actually looking for $580 exchange.

@Moderators, Please keep this post here at least till he himself comes here & posts his explanation here. Posts sent to GC don't get much attention of traders & he may get a chance to scam others mean while.

His e-gold id is 4661247 (RitGold)
    MB id is casinombec@yahoo.com

I highly doubt that one can charge back Moneybookers even if he/she paid with credit card. Because unlike PayPal credit card payments (Where you directly pay using your credit card) you first have to fund your MB account and then pay others. So it can't be charged back in any case.

Even I was unaware of this but just look at the screen shot. What do you say for it ? MB can surely be chargebackable, one of my friends has also experienced this kind of problem few days back though it was from another forum.

Ummm that's confusing. I really can't say anything about this but I'll be talking to MB customer support for sure because it is clearly written "No ChargeBacks" on their main page.

But again I believe that this has something to do with Credit Card. Maybe credit card company asked MB to refund money otherwise they could take legal action.

I know that. Even I have read all over MB site. Not yet found any clue how this happens. If anybody can dig this it would be better for all of us.

never ever trade with newbies always go for the trusted members

i`m not saying all new members cannot be trusted but they need to build up a good reputation on DP first

And yes you should confirm that they are reliable by checking their sites if any or use secure processors like egold while transacting with them.

Still confused, how the heck he can chargeback

I almost have a deal with him and he uses "HereMe" as his DigitalPoint other account. Is that true?

Fine, So finally the scammer is out now. Thanks glendowney for giving this news here.

BTW now the question is, MB is safe or not. Can anyone dig into this? I have a Moneybookers account with Verified address & bank a/c on file. Still I am afraid of asking this matter to MB. I suspect, this is not a charge back but may be darkxc has paid me using some fraudulent or unauthorized MB fund & that's why I got his payment canceled. May be the original owner of that a/c has complained about such unauthorized transaction to MB & that's why they have canceled this transaction. Now I am afraid, if I will ask about this matter to MB & their executives go deep into this probably they can block my MB account too & I don't want it to happen. So is there any means by which we can know that actually MB is charge backable or not ??

I knew that something was fishy about that darkxc.
Exact copy of my ID lol!

Btw,If MB don't allow chargeback then, maybe he got his account closed or something ?

OK so finally I have decided to call MB regarding this cancellation. I simply can't handle this. I just want to know the exact reason for such cancellation. It will be helpful for all future transactions. I'll post here my conversation with them soon.
