Yes, I have also noticed it.

They are adding link units under current ads.

I noticed the new ad format on my website too. I got a screenshot of it and it is attached to this post.

I think it looks great. I'm sure it will help my CTR.

As far as the links are concerned they are javascripts and after clicking on it
ads will be refreshed!

Think they are running some tests.
The strategy behind seems clear: more ads => less competition => lower PPC => happier advertisers (publishers might also be happy to make some extra $$)
Would adsense be having high CPC issues?? or are they just trying to grow the business?
