How to offer visitors a way to blog on your site?

    Hi,

    I have this website and want to offer visitors a way to start their own blog (within the site)... I want to use Wordpress for this, but i'm not sure if it's possible to set it up in a way that each visitor gets his/her own blog.

    It has to work like this:

    - User registers on website.
    - User receives login data for the site + login data for wordpress to write on their own customized blog.
    - User's blog is accessible tru a subdomain or subfolder.

    Is there a way to do this with wordpress?

    Yes

    Wordpress have 2 Version one is for singer user the other one is for Mutiple user
    When you download wordpress you have to check that is it fot multiple user ornot.

    I use Wordpress MU for this. Although, you need to have a host that supports wildcard domains to use it.

    A fair warning though... WPMU is quite a bit more complex that regular Wordpress, so be prepared for some learning to take place.

    Once you get the hang of it, though, you'll love it. I currently have 87 active blogs hosted and I'm getting ready to launch a new free wordpress blog hosting site this week. (Just waiting on graphics)
