first I'd use a free meta tag generator like the one found on this url

    submitplus.com/freemetagen.php

and then edit the html of your blog and insert the generated meta tags after the header tag near the top of the page.

after your done you can have a site analyze your meta tags for free to make sure they are there.

if this does not work let me know and we'll try something else.

Hi, I have been trying for days to add meta-tags, looking everywhere to get around weird error messages from google about parsing XML something or other. I have tried following this advice, too, but it doesn't work. my source code on the page does not seem to resemble what others have on their pages. any thoughts? I'm at wordsatwork.blogspot.com
I'd also like to be able to place an ad over the nav bar but nothing I do seems to work. I have some experience with HTML but the new blogger via Google has me confused. All advice welcome. Thank you.
