Restrictions on Peons responding to certain age threads

Ther have been threads, many hundreds of days old, some over 2 years old being revivied by new members who for all we know are not here for the long run.

Peons should be restricted to not be able to reply to threads which are over 100 days for eg.

I agree, except 100 days since the last post, and not 100 days since the thread started. Because some threads go on forever, and it would be just silly to stop new kids from posting in very active and very old threads.

It would help if the thread started closed those type of threads after the job was competed. Its funny hoe even after someone tells them the thread is 100's of days old other new members still reply for the job.

some people find the threads from google then join the site and reply to the thread without noticing that the thread is old. it dont happen that much and sometimes new life is put into the thread and it goes on for another 10 days or so.
