New Yahoo Web Site Coming

Looks like Yahoo is working on a new version of their search engine results pages.... I keep seeing this new look pop back and forth...

 

it look so much like google. the image is too small though..

I read somewhere that yahoo is going to make huge changes in their search marketing programs and they are going to make it similar to adwords. May be they have started the changes.

 

in fact yahoo is allways doing this . it's allways trying to make the same what google does

 

When you use the search feature it gives a dropdown of things it thinkgs you're searching for just like google suggest does.

 

I guess the old saying is true, if you can't beat them join them, or in yahoo's case copy them.

Agree with you there. Every Yahoo search page has their logo listed and it is very odd that this one doesn't. Yahoo allows yout to personalize your search results - perhaps this is something like that?

Copying is done by all sides in some respect or another. Sometimes it works , good example is how Yahoo Answers trounced Google Answers, Other times it doesn't - Google's Froggle, Gtalk, and maybe Google Checkout

 

You r right , Yahoo always make changes when they see changes in Google , actually they copy Google

In Clasione's image it looks like pay per clicks are only on the right side, not horizontal on top of the search results? Is anyone else seeing the same thing?

 

Actually, guys, it's not a "Google rip off" at all. The point of the new interface is to show a new feature of Yahoo called Search Assist.

Eventually they'll realize that copying Google isn't the way to get ahead of Google. Innovation is.

 

I agree, it does look like they are trying to look like Google.

 

I think it is a good step for them really.
